Yacht and Marine Vessels Design 75ft Explorer Sailing Yacht by Harry Miesbauer The yacht was designed for a very experienced owner, who wants to go with the yacht to every possible place on earth. This means also far north, up to Alaska. Therefore a lot of emphasis has been taken in order that the yacht will be sailed also in areas with low temperatures, even below zero. The yacht features a rigid sprayhood for more protection in the cockpit when sailing, and a hybrid propulsion system has been developed for the yacht, firstly to reduce emission and secondly that the yacht can enter also into environmentally protected areas.
